What is Bardeen?

Bardeen is an AI browser automation tool that handles repetitive tasks such as web scraping, data entry, and CRM enrichment – triggered manually or on a time- or event-based schedule. The free tier includes 100 credits per month; the Professional plan adds scheduled automations, premium integrations, and AI actions.

Unlike classic cloud automators, Bardeen works directly in the browser: the software is installed as a Chrome extension and can therefore act on what's visible in the browser — for example, scraping data from websites and LinkedIn profiles, filling out forms, or moving information between web apps. Pre-built "playbooks" cover common workflows, and custom automations can be assembled with a builder. The flip side: because Bardeen is browser-bound, it's less suited to purely server-side workflows that run continuously in the background across many SaaS systems — here, classic platforms like Zapier or Make are more robust. Scraping automations can also break when target websites change their layout, and the credit model makes heavy usage paid quickly.
